August Development Poll

Hey there Patrons!

We've wrapped up writing for Day 9 finally, however the queue for artwork is rather large and it will take the rest of the month to catch up. As such, rather than penning any new scenes for this build, we'll be focusing on the artwork as well as other misc improvements throughout the game for the remainder of the month.

Something we'd like your opinion on however is the development direction for August. Previously, our plan was to focus on Diego's route and bring that to completion as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, one side effect of this is that the pacing of the game remains quite rapid as side-plots will be fairly sparse until a later time. One of the biggest pieces of not-so-positive feedback we get about Sileo is about the pacing which has given us reason to consider a different approach which will address this issue sooner rather than later.

The alternate approach is that in the August development cycle, we move back to the route select that takes place on Day 5 and begin writing all routes simultaneously from that point, along with filling our side plot quota along the way (2 plots per day starting from Day 4 is the goal). This will mean that all 4 of the games primary routes will be able to be started as of the following build, but it would also mean that each of these routes would be developed at a slower pace than we're currently achieving with Diego's route (simply because we'd be developing 4 routes side by side instead of just one, with more side content to boot). Another downside would be that Diego's route would be on the back-burner until the others had caught up, which would mean there likely would be few if any new scenes in this route for the next couple of months at least.

Considering these factors, we're not quite sure ourselves what the best course would be for us to take, which is why we're putting up this poll and seeing what you guys think is best.

So let us know what direction you'd like us to take going forward!
