Patreon Revamp

Hi folks.

I would like to approach you with this post mainly to thank you for your support, the experience has been so positive, both with the release of the Character-Centric Packs and this Patreon, that I feel compelled to correspond with it. That’s why I’m announcing a rework for this Patreon.

CONTENT

As you have probably noticed, the Patreon has been revamped. I’m aiming to expand my content creation beyond the Ironcrunch supplement. I will start designing assets, quest fronts, and some creatures now and then. The two latter will have my own designed format, taken as basis Dungeon World fronts design principles and Shawn Tomkin’s work. I will also cover oracles in the future. I’m full of ideas for all this.

It is worth noting that since I will dedicate more time to designing other content, I will put less time into updating the Ironcrunch bestiary.

TIERS

The tiers have been adjusted to these changes. The post of monthly content and development roadmap now offers a representative image of the Patreon content, summarizing the tiers' rewards.

PATREON NAME

The page name will remain as it is. The reason why I don’t change it is that Ironcrunch is more of a concept to add granularity to the Ironsworn system than the working title of the main supplement. Or in other words, it is the term I coin to this project of mine of creating content for Ironsworn that is not necessarily restricted to supplement that started it all.

FUTURE

As the Patreon grows, I will hire an artist to illustrate the materials I produce, which will be either Astrid Rosales (who already made some art for the ancestries supplement) or Naigart. I’m aiming for a style similar to Forbidden Lands or the one you see in the Teratogenicon (a system-agnostic creature generator I dearly love and strongly recommend).

On the other hand, I’m currently saving the Patreon and sales income to get a new PC. I work with a computer from the fourth generation (2007), which is not the best suited to designing high-quality PDF, it doesn't have the power to run InDesign. I have 75% of the money, and if things go at the current pace, I will get the new machine by December. This will allow me to offer print-on-demand on DriveThruRPG for all the materials I produce and expand the scope of what I can do.

TWITTER

I just created a Twitter account to keep you informed of the new content on said platform.

Comments

Digging the adventure idea. It's really handy to just plug the quest in when you roll some sort of twist to the story, or someone needs a favor or whatever.
