Discord server patron only?
Added 2020-08-28 00:46:49 +0000 UTCI'll create a discord server this weekend.
Should I make it patron exclusive?
Free for all advantages:
- Fewer minds = fewer ideas
- Fewer eyes = more mistakes
- I'm not sure how I would even protect the link besides doing some patron check from time to time
Patron only advantages:
- Less people = cozier and more of a community = less insults, better collaboration
- Supporting the development is evidence that you are well intentioned. (Proof of stake)
- Too many cooks spoil the broth (maybe)
- Less trolls and less shills (maybe)
What are your thoughts?
The poll will inform, but not dictate my decision. So even if it's 99% vs 1%, but someone brings up a crucial point in the comments, I might ignore the poll, if the argument is strong enough.
