I assume Rose's shield was some magical deployable shield, cause I sure didn't see it on her previously. Strange, the assassins had dual blades but they only used one. Poison blades are typical for attacking knights if you are an assassin but no throwing weapons were used except for that powder stuff. No one were using magic buffs, interesting. The downsides are too bad for higher rank fighters maybe. They were trained well since even Allucia had some trouble with one - and you would think she would take off her cape when entering a battle now even if she was able the handle it this time. I think this is a setup or some sort of misdirection. Gatoga recognized the one he was fighting (maybe Hinnis). Rose being "odd" could mean they knew this could happen. Probably gonna link up with the whole church thing with the bishop and Spur from the previous eps.
