Cool piece of casting trivia…The actor who played Django in the 1966 film (Franco Nero) cameos as the slave owner whose fighter is defeated in the scene where we first meet Calvin Candie…It’s an effective scene because Jamie Foxx points out the “D” is silent in “Django”, to which he replies, “I know.” lol

2023-03-17 07:59:44 +0000 UTCGreat reaction fellas! Slightly Tarantino adjacent, can I recommend Wolf Creek 1 and 2? Tarantino claimed the first one as the best horror movie since Texas chainsaw. He cast John Jarret (the australian miner near the end) in this, because of his portrayal of Mick Taylor in Wolf Creek. He has said he's his favourite Australian actor. As an aussie myself I would love to see what you think!
