2023-03-18 04:38:59 +0000 UTCA couple of interesting pieces of casting trivia…Colonel Hans Landa was written for Leonardo DiCaprio, but Tarantino decided he wanted an authentic German actor to play the part, and almost considered the part impossible to cast subsequently, until he found Christoph Waltz…The other is that the part of Sergeant Donny “The Bear Jew” Donowitz was initially offered to Adam Sandler, who had to decline due to scheduling conflicts at the time for the movie “Funny People”.
