The idea of cornering the orange juice market was based on a real-life event that occurred a few years earlier. In 1979-80, The Hunt brothers -- two Texas oilmen -- tried to corner the silver market. They drove the price up from about $4/ oz to around $50/ oz until the price collapsed on "Silver Thursday", Mar. 27, 1980. The Hunt brothers were ruined.

I did put it on the list when i first made it, but then i remembered that Dan Akroyd blackface scene, and i decided to remove it from the list. But like i said, i dont remember if i had already removed it when i gave yall the list. Ultimately, im happy you watched it. That scene is distasteful to say the least, but its such a great movie, it deserves a watch, at least once

Also the fact that despite insane technical difficulties due to rarely experienced weather, you guys have managed to turn out at least 3 full movies in a month is easily worth my $10/month.

Next one should be Robocop, and then whichever they decide between whichever movie "wom" on last poll. (Tie) And, we have a viewing on Kast, whenever they pick a time and date. (I am actually hoping to postpone it until 5th of March, and we all watch Coming 2 America together....) anyone else up for that?

2021-02-26 02:29:49 +0000 UTCWas expecting either Blazing Saddles or RoboCop but Trading Places was a childhood favorite of mine, I mean I watched this movie so much when I was around 14 years old and honestly don't even remember the tits . I watched this on both on laserdisc and comedy central as a teenager so often. But I will have to admit JLC titties are breath taking, and totally felt you on the True Lies reference.
