They really leaned into the Zorro vibe here, a hero turned outlaw by the schemes of others, ladies' man and total epic scenes (that sometimes don't make sense, like the horse that came out of nowhere, but it's cool so who cares?), then becoming a hero again, but only to the people. I would love to see you guys react to the Mask of Zorro and the not-as-good-but-still-enjoyable sequel when you get a chance.

The irritating part is, while I'm usually good at figuring out what doesn't work for me, I couldn't with this one. It just felt like it should have landed, but for some unknown reason, it didn't. I am really excited about the second one though, because I love Puss, and it looks really good. I also hope you guys will react to The Mask of Zorro sometime. Not only would you both really like it, I think, but you'll appreciate the references in these and the Shrek movies even more.
