Patreon 1-Month Review

January is over and I’ve had my Patreon for almost a month now! So I decided to do a small review where I go through my thoughts so far, as well as opening the floor for you guys to let me know what you think so far! 

I want to start off by thanking you all for subscribing and just being interested in this little Stego. I never thought that  people would be wanting more content from me, things like ‘monthly subscription content’ ‘Youtube’ .. etc. are something I always talk myself out of due to the fear that no one will participate, watch or even be interested. So I appreciate and thank all of you guys for the support as well as just being so active within my community/streams! 

Since starting Patreon I have noticed a handful of things: 

• I haven’t been able to post on my social media pages as freely as I want/used to. 

• A handful of the Patreons are on a free trial instead of the paid ones. 

• I have received some DMs from you guys, wanting more of a ‘personal’ conversation.

• Our Discord server feels a bit separated. 

I would like to make a change with each issue to try and fix it! I’m of course open to suggestions so please don’t hesitate to speak your mind and offer some advice. 

• As many of you know I started Angry_Stego to learn to love myself and find my style with fashion. With my following growing and just being new to content creating I want everyone to feel like I’m not neglecting one or the other. I decided to do my best and follow a schedule so I can post more on social media while also giving Patreon Dinos early access! The schedule I hope to stick with for Patreon is to post on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday – those are the evenings that I don’t stream. 

• With my Patreon being mainly paid tiers, I know that times are tough and things are hard for many of you. Noticing that some of you Dinos are on a free tier, I decided to create one! My Patreon will be updated and the benefits of all of the tiers will most likely change. So keep an eye out!

• Patreon has been a wonderful platform for me to create more content and for you guys to gain more of an insight into my life. As much as I enjoy that part and am always happy to interact with all of you – I can sometimes get overwhelmed with constantly chatting with people on so many different platforms (Discord, Instagram and Patreon.) With such access to these apps, I find myself having little time to do things for myself. As I try to prioritize myself I still want you all to feel comfortable enough with me to come and chat! That being said – There is a ‘General’ chat in our Discord which is always open and probably the fastest way for us to interact with each other. So! I will be scheduling ‘Chatting Time’ through my Patreon on scheduled times! Most likely on my days off from streaming, I will be making announcements on my social media platforms when I’m available for chatting!

• Regarding our Discord server, for one – If you’re not a part of it already! Please do so, that is where I interact with people the most as well as announce practically everything! Streaming, updates, my life, etc. I made a ‘Patreon Only’ general chat channel and noticed that it isn’t really being used. Which is completely fine. I want everyone to feel comfortable on the server. My main goal is to create a comfortable community for all of my Dino Nuggies, I have decided to get rid of the ‘Patreon Only’ general chat and keep all of the general chatter open to everyone – Dino Moshpit! So chat it up in there. I’ll be keeping the ‘Patreon Only’ private channels regarding announcements, OOTD’s, etc. etc.
