Hope you’re all hanging in there. To the twelve baseball people in the chat: happy (belated) opening day!! I keep saying that I can’t wait to be loballtomized but that joke doesn’t really scan via text does it? Anyway, wishing health and prosperity to your team, unless it’s the Astros.

Btw, I’m still stuck in Insanity Hours… but at least it’s a different type of insanity in which I can get most of my work done. (And that’s what matters, right? lol.) Here’s that playlist I mentioned last week. If you were not in high school in roughly 2008 I have no idea how it will hit, but hopefully it still works. Also, Mckenzee sent me a cover of one of the songs on da playlist and it certainly has not made me less mentally unwell but it has introduced a new kind of suffering into my life, and for that, I thank her.

Speaking of Mckenzee~!! We recorded (imo) a very fun and silly Gender Conceal last week, thanks to YOU and your excellent questions! Big thanks to everyone who sent qs; I think we tackled almost all of them, and you’ll hear whatever we said on April’s Gender Conceal.

In the meantime, we put out a really fun Gender Conceal episode this week: Ozzy and I chatted with author extraordinaire Jeanne Thornton about her new book A/S/L, which comes out on Tuesday!!! We talk about da book as well as LiveJournal, Topside Press, New Mexico, Jojo Siwa — Ozzy cut out my long terrible explanation to Jeanne about who Jojo Siwa is, which was the correct choice, but can I just say Jojo is not beating my allegations —community open mics, job interview horror stories, autism masking quizzes, ‘90s teen chatrooms, the Plot Conflict Trans Misery Industrial Complex, and mooooore.

We sent out $4268 in TDOS microgrants to support 30 events, which is exciting for our first attempt at this new concept. I’ve also been tracking TDOS events on Instagram, which I mentioned last week, but there are a bunch more now, so take a peek again! Many of them are taking place this weekend, so keep an eye out. (And if you see/attend one in your area, let me know; it’s fun to know what cute events people are throwing!) 

Speaking of transgenders gathering to have fun :) :) :) ticket sales for our midwest shows have really stalled and I’m thinking that maybe there should be some kind of contest in which, like, whichever city sells out first gets an extra live show segment? I’ll try to talk Mattie and Calvin into that, but in the meantime, you will definitely be winning my love and affection and that’s what matters. So tell ur non-pod-listening friends plz.
