Hey friends,
Hope you’re all hanging in there. The hits just keep coming! And by hits, I mean anti-trans hit pieces.
First and foremost, congrats to Briana Bush for guessing all three anagrammed Future Podcast Guests correctly!!!!! For those of y’all who didn’t attempt the puzzles, I will now reveal that our first guest of the season is none other than... River Butcher, who we (fun fact!) first booked on the show like three years ago ago, way back when River was first starting to publicly address their transness. That original interview obviously didn’t work out, but the timing turned out to be for the best, as River & I now both have new names and voices and thoughts and whatnot.
Secondly, thanks to everyone who bought Trans Day of Snack merch! I just restocked the shop with our collection of vaguely threatening designs from February — so if you missed out then, you’ve got another chance to get a skip school, take hormones, kill god shirt. (We also added a kid-sized “Trans Kids are Wonderful” shirt for the cool babies in your life.)
Our big announcement of the week is that we’ve got the Spring 2022 grant applications up and running. Most of y’all know the drill by now: we’re giving at least ten $500 grants to trans people of color who are doing rad art / aid / activism / etc. to support their communities. If that’s you, please apply at bit.ly/tpoc22. If not, please spread the word!

We want to give you $500! Learn more and apply at gender podcast.com/grant. Applications close April 30. Please forgive our complete lack of graphic design ability."
Remember: we pay for the grant directly from this patreon, so YOU are making this possible! Thank you so much!!!! You can also see a list of our past winners from our previous six(!) grant cycles at genderpodcast.com/grant.
OK, I think it’s time for this week's List of Links & Stuff:

Photo 1: A very cute 3-year-old wearing overalls and a striped shirt. Photo 2: A picture of sea bream with the subtitles "she said it was because it's pink and has a cute face."
That’s it for this week. Here’s your weekly Rhubarb.

See you next week with a new episode, theoretically!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
