Hey friends,
Hope you're all hanging in there. Trans Day of Visibility/Having a Nice Snack is coming up next week, and while we won't be doing micropayments for snacks this year, we've got a few perks and projects up our sleeves nevertheless.
For example: we've currently got two very limited-edition TDoS '22 designs up in the merch shop, with at least one more hopefully on the way soon! The artists have generously agreed to let us use half the proceeds for our spring mutual aid drive, which we'll be launching next week.

All TDoS designs will run through April 9 and then be gone forever, probably, so grab anything you want sooner rather than later! (Actually, you should grab it today, because you can use promo code MARCH10 to get 10% off your order, today only.)
In other news, I've got three events coming up in the next few weeks that I want to tell you about!
March 31: The Center for Media Engagement has asked me to speak at a quick, free workshop on "what solidarity means in reporting on trans issues." The workshop is online and open to the public, and you can sign up here.
I'll be doing a little bit of talking and a lot of Q&Aing, and there will allegedly be fancy journalism people in the audience. A warning if you choose to attend: I will spend a lot of the talk trying to convince those fancy people to use their resources to actually hire me, instead of trying to Perform Allyship by attending a free event where I talk for seven minutes. :)

April 12: I'm absolutely honored to be part of the official (virtual) book launch event for Side Affect: On Being Trans and Feeling Bad, written by Gender Reveal alum Hil Malatino. The event is free with an optional suggested donation through Bluestockings, where you can also pre-order Hil's great new book. Sign up here, or wait for us to hopefully release our chat on the new Patreon audio feed(!) in the future.
April 13 & April 20: I'm leading a two-part Zoom workshop on how to do journalism in a way that doesn't absolutely screw over trans people! It's also broadly applicable to academics, writers, and other media-types, so please spread the word to any cis people who you think might benefit. (This one is a tough sell because it involves actual time and money, but I think it will be good and useful and also we have a sliding scale option!) The sign-up link is gender4journos.bpt.me but I also just appreciate a retweet.
Real quick, here are this week's links to stuff and things:

Phew, that felt like a long one this week! Thanks for reading all the way to the end for some reason. Here's your weekly Rhubarb, taken by the same roommate who did that text I just mentioned. I should really be paying them.

Good luck being visible on Thursday, everyone! I love you so much.
