Added 2023-09-08 19:12:32 +0000 UTCAfter last weeks bonus episode with the Fertility Advantage I felt it was time for a check-up + to inquire about getting my eggs checked.
I also couldn't help but think about our episode with Flor Cuz and what she said about standard gynecology at that many of their practices are meant to make you disassociate from your body. These stir ups and this table are kinda weird and frightening lol. Thankfully my doctor (female and black) always makes me feel very comfortable.
I asked my doctor about getting my eggs checked and she told me that freezing eggs is kind of a gamble. A very expensive one. Mainly because there is no promise that they will be viable once unfrozen π
Not sure if freezing eggs is the way to go for me but I made the appointment to get them checked. I have to wait til the 3rd day of my period to get blood drawn for the test.
Has anyone else done this? Weβre you nervous or surprised by your results?
