Honey & Garlic Butter Roasted Carrots

*Early access bonus content*

Happy Friday everyone!!!

I'm really excited to share this with you guys because it's the first of many "side dish" style recipes that I plan on doing here on Patreon, as well as a few on my social media platforms.

The reason I'm so excited about this is because I am very limited on the amount of calories I can fit into my meal prep recipes. As you all know, I keep them all under 500. I also keep the carbs under 60g to adhere to the American Diabetes Association's recommendation for carbs per meal. (And remember, carbs are not bad and they do not hinder weight loss. So if you do not have diabetes, this doesn't even apply to you).

So oftentimes I really want to add more veggies to a meal, and I just do not have the room for calories or carbs. So by doing these side dish recipes, I hope to give you all options to choose from, for adding your own side of veggies to make my meals more filling, while also increasing your daily intake of vegetables.

What types of veggies would you like to see a recipe for? Let me know in the comments!

These carrots were really tasty! I hope everybody enjoys them as much as I did :)

Jicama, rutabaga, turnips… I’d love some ideas for these!!

Love the veggie side dishes. Since your meals are typically 400-500 calories, and I try to get around 600-700 calories per meal adding these as a side dish has been a great addition! I’d like to suggest zucchini, edamame or maybe spinach since I always tend to have some left over after making entrees.

A mixed veggie side. Like yellow squash, zucchini, mushroom mixture. Or some kind of mixture that fits into your requirements when making recipes

These are great! I don’t like carrots and we’ve already had this twice!

These carrots were amazing and a huge hit with my family! Tfs!

I'd love to see ideas with frozen vegetables.

He has a recipe that has a Mediterranean blend recipe with it and I make it for broccoli all the time. It’s so good. I think it’s on the Greek pita recipe.

Broccoli!! I Need some nice seasonings to make it not taste so bland and get some flavor.

Made these this weekend and they are delicious! Thank u!

I'm so excited for this new series. Thank you for all you do!

I've been making these for years! But the only difference is I use Slap Yo Mama for a nice bit of heat and some thyme in place of cinnamon. So good!
