Cluckin Chicken Bowl

*Patroen exclusive content. Please do not share PDF or ingredients*

*EDIT* A member pointed out a discrepancy in the instructions and ingredients. There was a Tbsp of olive oil missing that was not calculated into the calories. I have uploaded a revised copy of the PDF, so please replace your old PDFs with the new one. The calories increased from 440 to 460 per serving and the fat increase by 2g after accounting for the second Tbsp of olive oil.

So this is my take on a Chic Fil A bowl! So for those of you that cannot find this G Hughes sauce, I think a 1/2 cup of Chic Fil A sauce (thinned out with 2 Tbsp of water) will work just as well. Obviously adjust your calories and macros any time you make adjustments.

Serve this with a side of your favorite steamed or roasted veggies to make this meal even more filling!

I think there's  a good chance I'll try all of the G Hughes sauces at least once and post a recipe if they turn out. So keep your eyes open for them in the store :)

I wonder if this is why my pan browned up more then the chicken. I watched and listen to the video for this one. Or could I have the pan too hot? I had it in the range of medium-high. Letting everything cool before I can eat it.

Liked this one a lot! Never tried the Cluckin sauce before, but it's going to be a staple in our pantry now!

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it :)

This is SO SO good!!!

I saw a comment about air frying which is exactly what I’m here to ask about. I made it before and my pan sucks and didn’t make them crispy. Still great though. Do you have a suggestion for temp and time in air fryer??

Is there an alternative brand to use for the potatoes? I can't find that brand.

Finally made this for my lunches and it is AMAZING! I’m going to pick up more Cluckin sauce so I can make this for my family for dinner one night! 😋

This is a staple in our house. We have also subbed the protein pasta for the potatoes (calorie content is similar) and it was also delicious! In fact my husband is making this recipe as I type this comment. Can't wait for dinner??? YUMMY

Ah! I see my mistakes. I selected “container “ instead of “cup” for the sour cream and something else. Thank you Zach and Kyle!

This meal is awesome, and appreciate the update re the Olive Oil. Don’t care about the calorie differential, but it shows a commitment to transparency which is one of the reasons I joined. Keep it up!

What's the name of your Facebook group?

I've got it around 537 - I'm guessing that I'm measuring the sauce incorrectly.

My wife and I have been on your meal plans for a few weeks now…this is one of our favorites!! Roast some broccoli and cauliflower. Perfect!

Thank you so much for pointing this out JoAnn! I just revised the calories and macros to account for the missing Tbsp of olive oil. It was an oversight on my part. I uploaded a corrected copy of the PDF. Thank you for pointing this out!

Are you in the Facebook support group? If so, make a post and show me the screenshots of your entries. I'll look it over and see if I can see where the discrepancy is.

Did anyone else have a high calorie count (702) on My Fitness Pal? I have gone over this multiple times and that can’t be right!

I ordered the cluckin chicken sauce from Amazon but haven’t made it yet

I couldn’t fine the Cluckin Chicken sauce, so I bought G Hughes Carolina BBQ and it was delicious!

The recipe says 1 TBSP of olive oil, but in the directions you end up using 2 TBSP. Just wondering if the calorie count includes 1 TBSP or 2 TBSP of olive oil? Thanks!
