Parmesan Crusted Chicken & Rice Pilaf

This is my take on LongHorn Steakhouse's dish. Once I tasted it, I knew I had to try to recreate it for a meal prep. It turned out even better than I expected. As good as LongHorn's? I don't know, you bet the judge :)

This is what I want to know as well… I would rather have veggies

No I did not. I touched on that in the video above :)

For the rice pilaf, are you adding butter? The box calls for butter. Just wondering. thx!

Yes, always. Most veggies will be super low calorie and packed with fiber and nutrients.

Can I add a veggie on the side of this without much changing as far as macros?

This is by far my favorite chicken recipe now!! Soooo good!

Yes. Sliced in half horizontally. It's in the video.

Just made this with chicken thighs, SO GOOD!!

Did you slice the chicken breasts in half?

Does anyone know what the calories for the parmesan chicken is without the rice?

I really enjoyed this. That said, I’m going to pound my chicken breasts thinner and salt those before coating next time. The flavor is perfect though.

If the butter is being left out of the Rice do I then go by 190 calories per serving? I am trying to I put it in to my app and want to make sure I am accurate

My family loved this meal

I made this for meal prep on Sunday and I am OBSESSED. It is so delicious and I have looked forward to my lunch for the past 3 days. This is definitely a keeper and will be on a consistent rotation. Thank you!

Oh my gosh, this meal is simply amazing! This one is all for me but I’ll make it for dinner for the family next week. Thank you for making such amazing recipes with NORMAL ingredients!

So by the way it looks in the pdf, i think its 3 butterflied

I was wondering the same thing. All of the chicken breast I buy in the store with exception of the expensive organic/range fee stuff have such large pieces that I have to butterfly to cook them.

For the chicken breast, did you use 3 and butter fly them? Or did you use 6?
