Time for a little education!
In case you are new here or just haven't had time to scroll through all the posts, this is the last infographic in a series of infographics that break down the various macronutrients (Fats, Carbohydrates, and Protein). The takeaway from these 3 posts is that a balanced meal should contain all 3 macronutrients. They have a synergistic relationship in the body that provide multiple health benefits. So the next time somebody tells you to cut out all fat from your diet, or all carbohydrates, remember what you have learned here.
The current fad is to demonize carbohydrates, but there was a time when fat was the enemy in the world of nutrition. But the fact is, dietary fats play a large role in our overall health and bodily functions.
One thing I want each and every one of you to learn from following me, it's that all foods fit into a balanced diet and lifestyle.
