Hello everyone,

so the updated version is online now. All shaders are done with the "new" Node system, if you still need the old ones, please download them first.

Also this month everyone (expect from the 5€ Test Tier)will get the plugin for free. So you are saving yourself 90€.

Everyone in the right Tier can just go to the Patreon shop and download it there for free.

Thanks Vincent. Now I have a new problem. When setting up the database, the program says "Downloading / Please Wait" but nothing seems to happen. Can anyone share with me how long there download times took?

hm, that sounds tough. Sorry I have no idea. Perhaps deleting everything and reinstalling? Or you try the Maxon directory: https://support.maxon.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500006433061-Where-do-I-install-plugins-for-Cinema-4D

nice, yeah I just wanted to write, that it doesn't work with opacity gradients. Will check that out, thank you 😍

Yeah this helps a lot if your mask has a 100% contrast, as far as I know is that stencil masks can't give you a gradient of different opacities, it's either off or on.

Thank you Vincent I have deleted the old one, However it does not seem to work on my Mac c4d2025.0.1 has anyone got it to work on Sequoia. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.? So an update window pops up with the opening of Cinema 4d all the time now however, the update installer has already been installed inside C4d as per instructions however the plugin does not seem to update. I can't find my shaders from you from before or any new ones.

Realizing that this approach doesn't work with opacity gradients I discovered that using OSL Halftone pushed to the max does a nice trick! Thanks Vincent and congrats on your anniversary! Quick idea for materials you want to use opacity and are getting too slow to render. Instead of applying the texture as a material opacity, you can output your material into a Sprite node and use the desired opacity texture as a Stencil Shader of the Sprite, then you can connect the Sprite node to the final output node and you are done :-)
