Attention (About the request)要望に関するお気持ち長文
Added 2025-02-07 18:19:56 +0000 UTCI receive a fair amount of requests because of my profession, but now I basically do not accept requests for free. The reason is that if it were free, other people would want to submit requests. Whether my work is worth paying for or not is irrelevant, and I believe that receiving money is beneficial to all my comrades who are looking forward to my work. Even those who are not interested in the request will be able to continue working on the piece if I receive the money.
You may think that I just want the money, but clearly there is no financial benefit to me because I cannot ask for a price that would make me a profit for taking the time to respond to a special request.
When you make a request to me, please talk about money from the beginning because it is not worth my time.
It is difficult to say that it will cost money when no money has been discussed, so I refuse.
Even if he/she is willing to pay for it, of course, such a thing does not come across to me. I think this is true for most other artists as well.
We are happy to receive requests, but we can't give special treatment to only those who wish to receive such requests.
It would be nice if a function like crowdfunding could be easily used in FANBOX, but we have to wait and see.

The latter. I don't always accept it. Most of my work is commissions. The “cm” in the work number stands for commission. My commissions are a little different from other artists. The commission works is low because the completed work is sold for a profit, but the client is not allowed to publish it without permission. It is normally the time to receive commissions, but due to the significant delay in work due to COVID-19, we have decided not to resume until we make up the delay.

2025-02-08 20:49:53 +0000 UTCI know translators can be rough, thanks for using it to reply anyways! I appreciate your replies, it makes more sense now! One question, do you take commissions always or only when you post that you're taking commissions? I wouldn't want to throw something at you when you aren't accepting them if I had any ideas to not waste your time.

2025-02-08 20:14:41 +0000 UTCI'm not going to ask someone who hasn't indicated a willingness to pay for their willingness to pay. If I don't know, I refuse. That's all.

2025-02-08 11:06:41 +0000 UTCIf you show that you are willing to pay, I will present it to you. Or if you have a specific amount you can pay, you can offer it. Even if the amount you offer is higher, you will end up accepting the amount I have in mind. I don't like "honesty doesn't pay". On the contrary, I dislike the idea that they intend to pay but do not indicate their willingness to pay because they might do it for free. So no matter how high you offer, the price you end up paying is the same. Negotiations will only break down when the amount you offer is lower than the amount I consider. I am talking about special requests where the amount cannot be presented in advance. So I guess you'd better ask me for the price. By the way, when I say “you”, I am not talking to you. I don't understand English, so I just put it through the translator.

2025-02-08 11:04:06 +0000 UTCOh I misunderstood a bit sorry! I haven't seen you take commissions in a while so I assumed you hadn't been doing them, my fault! Is it something that if they said they'd be willing to pay you're okay with that, or they need to give a price? I know I am uncomfortable to say a price because I don't know what's fair, and I don't know if you have commission pricing somewhere. For what it's worth, if anybody messages without a price, you should set a price if it's quick to do. Worst case if they want the work for free, you can ignore them I think? Sorry if I'm being annoying with suggestions, I just hope you're getting paid what you should be!

2025-02-08 09:45:21 +0000 UTCMy point is that if you are willing to pay, write first or I will just refuse. It means that I do not ask them if they are willing to pay me, I refuse. It's hard for me to accurately convey my intentions in English. I hope you understand somewhat. I already do the usual commissions, as do other artists. In other words, it is a way to present the terms and price to the public ahead of time. This article is in response to a request comment outside of such normal requests. For example, I recently received a request to create another version of a work created in the past. I cannot take the same amount of money because it is a work that I have made in the past. I can't charge the same amount because I am only altering a part of it. But if there is no indication of willingness to pay, I assume they want me to do it for free, so I refuse. This means that I will not tell them that the request will cost money.Because many people are not interested unless it is free.

2025-02-08 07:54:39 +0000 UTCWhat about if the idea brought to you is explained, and you decide how much you'd want to be paid to make it? You might not give a price people accept, but if it's quick for you to give a price from a written idea, it'd be an easy solution I think? I have ideas I'd want to request, and would be happy to pay for, but I have no idea what you feel is fair for you. It'd be rude of me if I made a request and said for example $20 when you'd expect $100, but that's a big price change that I might find hard to accept which I think is more rude of me, making me not want to. I know I've seen a lot of artists use examples of their work to say what the price would be for a similar level of work/detail. Maybe something like that would be a good idea? All of this assumes you want to do paid requests/commissions anyways! I do think you have some of the better Giantess art, so it'd be nice if you could make commissions work!
