Jiyoon is definitely improving like I had hoped. She still is having some issues applying the correct mentality in a practical sense to really "own" the stage and not hold back though. Gyuri ended up hard carrying that TWICE stage. I agree completely that I thought Jungeun and Fuko did a better job with Taeyeon's Fine cover than Minsol and Jiyoon did with Eyes, Nose, Lips. They just had better teamwork and chemistry together. It's strange because the judges seemed to agree, they all praised Jiyoon and didn't make any comments about Minsol, so I'm a little confused how they still won that round honestly. Speaking of the judges, 24 needs to work on how to give proper criticism. I don't even necessarily disagree with his overall opinions, but they could be worded way better. I dunno', maybe some of it is lost in translation and cultural differences. I think what makes me not respect his judgement as much either is the fact that he is a producer, and doesn't have the stage experience to actually know how difficult performing is. Not saying his opinions should be completely invalidated, just that to me they hold less weight than the other judges like Monika, Leejung, and Taeyang who are actual performers. So combined with him being very blunt just rubs me the wrong way. Anyway, lots of survivor's guilt in this episode...good ol' I-LAND trauma simulator continuing to be a good case study for anyone wanting to learn about psychology.

2025-07-31 17:37:52 +0000 UTClol I got so used to just hearing your voice that I forgot you would be coming back on screen so it kind of scared me a bit💀 but Yea the judges on this season feel so rude idk, they sometimes say things that seem more like to tear the contestants down rather than to give them constructive feedback. I believe in being harsh but there’s also a limit.
