Haha I paused the video recording while it loaded so you don’t have to watch it cook. It took a while but not 30 min. I have a threadripper 7950x cpu. I really like threadrippers for Houdini work because they are multithreaded and can simulate stuff fast

Hey Ian! Thx for the tutorial! Can you tell me about your computer setup, specifically your CPU? Around the 14:40 mark, you let the solver cook 240 frames, and it seems to take only a minute. For me, it takes around 30 minutes, and I suspect a CPU issue. I have an i9-12900K, which isn’t the best, but I’m convinced it should be faster than this. The load on never go above 50%. Any tips?
