Hidden in the humid mists, a sleeping settlement stand guard at the mouth of the river. Roots reach out through the waters, pulling travelers closer to an unknown fate. All while the shadows and calls of the forest beckon with promise...and warning.

This was a huge one this month. It started as another simple village map, but turned into what is essentially a double map; in size and use. DMs can easily chop this map in half to use either just the settlement portion or forest clearing.

Lore wise, this one is intended to link to the Jungle Ruins map as a starting point in the adventure. A classic party arrives to question the townfolk about rumors scenario. Or perhaps all is not as it appears, as the huts lay abandoned in a state of decay. Who or what lived at the edge of the ruins? What dangers await the party in the forest ahead as they seek the source of riches and nightmares?
