I’m someone who grew up with one direction and this hit me emotionally a lot more than I expected, so it upsets me to open my phone and see memes and jokes about his death. And I saw a lot of it less than 24 hours after it happened. I do think there’s a time and place and after time has passed it might be more appropriate, but to jump to jokes so immediately is insensitive towards his fans, family, and friends who are grieving. Regardless of how you feel about a person, he was someone’s son, someone’s brother, someone’s best friend, etc. I feel like people should respect that more 🤷🏻♂️
