A lot of Florida high school graduates wouldn't have been able to graduate in any other state or get into a college in any other state. Florida ranks around 35th in standardized test scores, but is typically top 10 in matriculation because of this scheme, and that gives them a higher ranking than they should have in reality. And assuredly keeping the citizens of Florida less educated suits Republicans just fine, as it helps them keep stranglehold on state politics.

Just like Hollywood, California. When you say Hollywood everyone assumes you are talking about Hollywood California not Hollywood Florida. If people are talking about Hollywood Florida they will say that, because they know it’s not the most common “Hollywood”. Monet has some patience of steel to listen to so much misinformation.
