Instruction based on the combination of Zachary et al and Armstrong. I originally tried to do the full corset instruction by Zachary et al but I cannot get the bra section to work. Bra making is a specialized area which I’m not keen of spending more time with because women lingerie is my least favorite garment to make.
I settled on Armstrong “corselet” (P90) because it is simpler but still has some feature of bra. I used Zachary et al “women fitted torso” as a base because I’m not a fan of Armstrong bodice, which depends on a lot of archaic body measurements that are difficult to obtain on 3D avatar.
The biggest modification that I made is mostly regarding the shape and amount of the waist dart, because the original dart does not work with this avatar. If you are using different avatar, or wearing the corset on top another garment, most probably you need to adjust the darts especially the lower dart legs.
I watched some people making corset in Clo by drawing on the avatar using 3D pen tool, then flattening the shape obtain the accurate pattern. But if you know me, I’m all about that tedious flat pattern drafting.

###### Footnotes ######
#1. If you are using different avatar, you need to adjust the darts as needed at this stage. In this case, continue simulating to evaluate the fit.
#2. This 2.5 cm section is removed in real corset to be replaced with lacing. I reduce the weft to simulate the pulling effect of the lacing. In the final garment, I did not remove it completely but keep part of it as hidden piece to stabilize the lacing.
