More than 7 hours long. Even longer if I didn't edit out the time just staring at the reference pictures. But don't be intimidated, this is quite easy to make as long you start with a good base. Like most thing in art and design, work from big to small.
The knee area was particularly puzzling to me. I have no idea how it made. I saw some darts or knee pad. It is also asymmetrical, but I kept them symmetrical except the thigh pocket where I replaced it with different pocket after I finish with most things. I always prefer doing asymmetrical detail toward the end.
Another interesting detail was the back pleat/flange. The pants also have back yoke. To make the yoke look better, I introduced 1 cm back waist dart to the pants, then merge them to shape the yoke.
I tried my best to match the collar and hood to the reference garment but still keep it simple. I just sew part of the hood to the neckline or collar. The real hood is probably detachable via snap buttons or sewn into zipper compartment inside the collar.
Not matter how difficult it looks, patch pockets like these are actually the easiest detail to make. It is because they are separate from the main garment so you can never mess up. If you fail to make it, just delete and try different way.
I should make proper front opening with zipper so that I can open it for different look, but I forgot. By the time I remember, it was too late since I already exported the models and baked the textures.
Only after I finish my render that I realized I got the color wrong. It was supposed to be neon green instead of yellow. I should invest on monitor with better color accuracy. I made it in Clo afterward where the color is closer to the reference garment.
