I wasn't gonna hug the queens because Bob had mentioned that in the past (or trauma dump, but I think it's super important to say that) and I'm going alone (I don't go alone to things usually but I think it's a healthy practice to/I'm trying to do more of things like that/I was very willing to go alone) but the advice was very helpful, especially to hydrate so I'll bring extra water. Do y'all (anyone) think it's offensive to my queens to wear all black sneakers? I was gonna wear my Voss "Defend Drag" shirt with leggings and maybe heels, but I def will need flat shoes at some point, but I hate flats and don't even own a pair. Is that outfit ok? Also, if I'm not touching the queens do I awkward hover hand in the picture, or just lean in with my cheesy smile (that's what I had planned on)? Thx Bomo nation. Love y'all.

2023-04-26 16:41:35 +0000 UTCFor the lawyer who had the pro bono work vs job question- I agree with Bob. Balance is key. I have my regular job and I do pro bono work in my spare time. Instead of going through your firm, you could also find an organization that focuses on expungement clinics and/or trans issues and exclusively volunteer there. Just know you arenโt alone- most lawyers have felt the urge to quit their firm job and exclusively work in with profit/their area of pro bono. And you can always do it later in your career, most people donโt stay at firms forever. Good luck!
