Either we shouldn't kill anyone or we should only kill people who the legal system deems deserving of death? OUR legal system? I can't be ok with that.

If you would kill someone out of revenge, are you any better than them? They probably had a reason like revenge for why they killed. Killing is wrong no matter who is doing it.

first of all: thanks for the conversation: second: what if you were wrongfully convicted? that grey area needs to be recognized before you make that statement. bob as said that many of times: how do black Americans make up 15% (modest percentage) of the country yet more than half are in jail or prison. something is toxic in the arena. whether it is the justice system or the environment. third: once you're in jail or prison, isn't it suppose to be a rehabilitation? how to you help somebody by killing them? (setting an example doesn't help the dead.)

It’s not a “gay issue” tf?? pedophilia is a societal issue. Gay children are definitely less protected so more susceptible to harm but that doesn’t equate to there being more gay predators than straight ones.

I live in Canada and all our inmates can vote from jail. Taking away that right, to me, does not make sense. Especially since 32% of our prison population is indigenous due to systemic racism and need their voices heard.

Wishing continuous suffering and misery on someone for years and years as a form of revenge isn't really a healthy way to live. Someone close to me was killed and I don't wish a life of pain and torture on their killer... that does nothing for my healing process. I think every human has the right to live with decency and respect and if they're not causing problems in prison then they should be allowed to live with some distractions like internet and TV.

Prison doesn’t at all rehabilitate people my dad was an undiagnosed mental health issues and prison completely changed him so now I truly don’t believe he is a safe enough person for the public
