But still, I promise you, discord is SUPER easy and WAY better than almost any other social media platform out there. I felt a little leery of it myself at first so I understand, but deciding to spend more time on it was one of the best decisions I ever made and I would not trade it for anything now.

Discord plz! Mostly because I deleted FB, but also the discord is more real time and there are video rooms you could use instead of zoom. Oh also I believe there are ppl called mods who ensure the rivalry rules are respected. For anyone asking: Discord is essentially a standalone app (available on Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS) that allows you to create communities (private or not) that have chat rooms, voice chat rooms and can support video streaming/sharing. It's a fantastic community tool--you can have custom emojis, custom stickers, it's really great! (Also I'm a xennial and use it no problem, so y'all can do this!)

I'm an avid Facebook user and my patience with FB is running thin. Zucc is doing way too much with it, banning accounts violating community guidelines, like what you ask? Some examples being memes shared being too dark (d3ath related or super dank), mentioning words that they think is insults (I got banned for 7 days after telling a white racist defending KR to "eat a d1ck" LMAO). Facebook has become a heaven for republican boomers imo (I know it sounds a bit extreme and I am lumping a lot but that's just how I feel, FB does nothing when it comes to white supremacy contents but would ban you for the lamest reasons). Discord can seem intimidating at first, but it's a pretty short learning curve once you get going. You don't have to use a lot of what they offer (like Nitro boosts). Plus it's great for communities and the Patreon integration is going to be really helpful for y'all!

There’s several discord bots and tool systems you can subscribe to that make a lot of the better discord features easier. I use ticket tool almost exclusively for my own discord and it’s super easy. Also yes the Patreon integration is 1000% worth the effort you’re gonna put in.

I have no experience with Discord. I hear what everyone is saying about Facebook. But I would say there is a fair amount of late Gen Xers and early Millenials that only ever used Facebook to connect with school friends and family. That's it. Currently under seige by incredibly odd people people with their flat earth, anti vax nonsense on one side and a whole load of racist nonsense the other. We need more proper content on Facebook. Leaving such a monolith to the hands of seriously messed up content creators is not going to help anyone on planet earth in the long run. So I say, with a strategic political and humane agenda, Facebook is more worthy of your attention.

Anything but facebook. Discord is easy once you get the hang of it. You make a server and then you can make groups within the server that are either voice chats or text chats. It's lets you have mini groups like a "gaming corner" or a "tea chat"
