The Rosé storyline reminds me a lot of Bianca del Rio's. In season 6, they made Bianca seem like "the mean one" who eventually became the loveable one. With Rosé, they've really been playing up this whole "I'm a perfectionist, but I'm learning how to be silly" thing. I think Rose will be in the top two... I also think it should be Symone and Gottmik though. I have a feeling it will be Gottmik and Rose, because Gottmik has shown a lot of growth in comedy throughout the season. I have a feeling Symone is going to get screwed over.

Idk if anyone has said this in the past but I really do think if Kandy would have waited maybe just even one more year she would have excelled tremendously at drag race. This season it seemed like she was to quick to want her break out “star” moment to try to top Dalia and Aja but It’s clear that what she brought to drag race this year was not her best. She seemed to unsure of herself but what carried her was her personality I guess lol. Also don’t get me wrong, she has had some good moments but there is no way we can sit here and say that Kandy has been killing it...

Just for the sake of conversation, I think Gottmik can be accused of the same thing. She's basically been her Paris Hilton character for every challenge. I do think that Gottmik has been more effective and entertaining though. =)

I think the best decision Olivia made competitively on the season was to go for the mime character in Bossy Rossy. It forced her to inhabit a completely different character and focus solely on physicality. Otherwise, she may have exposed her limitations much earlier in the competition. As soon as the challenges shifted from dancing/performance to comedy/acting she was out of her depths and regressed to using the baby persona as a crutch.

I think the Olivia thing is her trying to go all in on the sweet and innocent thing because the judges have commented on it so much, but she hasn't gotten it dialed in right. Like, she should LOOk sweet and innocent and then be super mean. I think it's just part of her still finding her persona.

I thought Rose and Gotmik were top two. Something about Symone's character didn't have enough oomph for me. Gotmik was kinda one note and I'm surprised they liked it so much because they have critiqued others for lack of peaks and valleys and I think Gotmik's performance lacked peaks and valleys. That said, I think they are getting credit for being able to do stuff no one (including them) thought they could do. OTOH, Rose is a pro and they expect her to be great and she was great. So, no one is surprised and they overlook her every week. I was so happy to hear the judges comment on Rose's professionalism and that she is also showing heart now. I think she is riding a wave and is hitting her peak at the right time.

I think Symone will win because she’s the best lip syncer left. I think Rosé has done a great job giving what the judges want to see in everything but fashion in many cases. Her storyline has momentum and that’s what people are picking up on. Definitely deserves her spot at the top and the credit for that. I think Mik has done great but her performances for dancing and singing are pretty weak cumulatively. I also have a similar bias to what Bob has against that childish character choice for Olivia except mine is against Mik’s go-to character. Whiny characters really, really make me annoyed so it’s hard for me to get behind that. It nudges Rosé above Mik for me as the winner in my top 3 line up. I think they’re all hilarious though. Mik has natural timing and Rosé is very polished and poised. Symone is the natural and she’s a star. Her nuance in lip syncs is so fun to watch and I just don’t see anybody else beating her or black lives just don’t matter.

i think what Monet is saying about current seasons is that you have to be aesthetically strong to win, not that u have to spend money. Yvie served some of the best looks on drag race, whether they were from a trash can or not. every winner since s8 has had strong runways vs earlier seasons like 5 or 6. there’s no way bianca could wear the same dress everytime and win a current season.

My personal opinion on Kandi’s look (and her fashion in general) is that she lacks the taste level and creativity to collaborate on something sickening. I could totally be wrong but it looks like she is ONLY relying on designers ideas to create things. That’s why her fashion seems inconsistent because they aren’t her ideas, she’s referencing celebrities or big fashion hauses constantly or just flat out wearing other people’s ideas. If she had any kind of personal perspective on a “pocket” look...she should never have shown up to drag race with that outfit and then disrespected the designer by trying to distance herself from it when it was poorly received. I don’t really feel bad for her. This is what happens when you enter a creative competition with limited creativity.

I totally get what Bob was saying about it being harder for Queens to make an impact because there are so many. At the beginning you could have gone home third and still had a world famous career. Now unless you’re a meme or top 4, I don’t feel it’s easy to make an impact due to over saturation. The fact this season has been almost 4 months along doesn’t help the current seasons cast as I just want it to be over with. I’m hardly missing any of them lol.

As RPDR has evolved, you can't even compare the seasons. What gagged us or stood out earlier on is just considered referential now. Girls have to go so big, and beyond just bringing what is happening in clubs on TV, because with internet we can see it all already. Think of Roxxys wig reveal. Or Sharon Needles doing literally anything surrounded by pageant, fashion and theater queens. If someone walked down a season 13 runway in Sharon's dirty tshirt dress with tentacle fingers there would be serious judges critique. The looks so many girls are able to prepare in the past 5 years, if you dropped them into early seasons the contestants didn't have that level of advanced preparation - access to designers, wig makers, make up artistry, etc was so different. At the same time, plop some recent girls into the acting or design challenges of the early seasons and they may struggle.

Its obvious Symone is the front runner, but i noticed how much emphasis has been put on gottmiks progress since the beginning of the competition. More so than other competitors. Also you can tell ru LIVES for gottmik, especially during their interactions on the main stage. BUT aside from episode 1, rose has been consistently good. None of her performances have been bad. I think it's going to be a tight finish. I think this may be a season where any of those 3 are deserving of a win.

Also there was no way they would've kept Olivia. To me; they patted her on the shoulder and said it was time. Literally the contestants and the judges all said Olivia needs more time to improve.

In the finale; if its a LSFTC... the top 2 will be Kandy and Symone. Symone and Kandy are the best lipsyncers from the top 4 and lets be honest Mik and Rosé aren't the best lipsyncers from the lipsyncs we've seen from them. Unless its Mik vs Rose and Kandy vs Symone; Top 2 will probs then be Rosé and Symone.

And I agree with Monet about Gottmik, apart from the cat scene she was very one note just making a face looking at the camera and whining (just like in her water comercial btw). At the end of the day Symone was the best. Most natural actress, high and lows in her performance. Just the best she should have won.

OOF, I’m so happy with Sibling Watchery because you two vocalise every thought that comes to mind, and to be honest I was surprised with this episode’s outcome. Olivia’s baby thing had gone sour real fast, and I agree that her Bossy Rossy win should have been Gottmik’s because she carried the both of them. Rosé has delivered more these last few episodes, but Gottmik and Symone both have that “it” factor while both being high fashion queens with consistent performance wins and unmatched comedic nuance, whereas Rosé pulls contorted faces and phrases her sentences like they hurt her, which - if we are gonna criticise Symone for repeating a character - we saw Rosé do for the RuPaulMark and Commercial challenges; that, and her runway looks just don’t match the caliber that S and G have constantly raised the bar on (except her Beast Couture runway - that devil was dope). Honestly thought Gottmik was going to win this challenge (I was a little confused because her rehearsal was hilarious and they seemed to have taken the least effective cuts of her for the actual final edit?), and when she didn’t, I was GAGGED thinking Symone was getting her 5th win, haha. Anyway, this is a whole lotta ruminating that really means nothing, this top 4 all fought very hard and I’m excited to see how it all wraps up. Hopefully four months of episodes gives us the climax we need... 😂💕

Small correction: Last season, Gigi won the finale performance episode (not the “finale” finale obviously). The reason why they changed this is because of how pissed everyone was season 11 that Yvie didn’t win the finale performance eps (no one won but she was called first, implying that she did win). There typically isn’t a win in that finale like Bob said, but they changed that last year with Gigi winning (making it her fourth win). PS: That Nickelback impersonation was so spot on 😂

It is obvious Gottmik and Symone will be the top 2, no shade to Rose and Kandy, because Rose worked her way to the top and showed out in every challenge towards the end. Kandy lipsynced 3 times and won a main challenge once which is less than the other queens. It would be so hard to say who would win season 13, honestly, unless there was a tie between Gottmik and Symone cause they are both that amazing and showed an amazing journey in their own ways on drag race, but I highly doubt that will happen, so we'll see idk.
