Some of these comments are WILD. I’ve been a sibling for over a year and it’s been worth it for sure! They are just adding additional content at a higher price. If you cannot afford it than just keep your current tier. Think about it, they are giving us 2 videos per week plus additional viewing parties and sometimes additional videos or post. They have to pay the cost for editing and other cost so I get it. People need to be a little more respectful and take a sec before you post because some of y’all sound crazy. I think this would be a great time to implement some type of pay-to-view video option, so if you pay for a lower level tier, there's the option to pay extra per video. That way those who don't want to upgrade due to timezone can pay extra to watch when they do happen to be available, and those who don't want to/can't pay a higher tier can watch an extra video now and then (for a small fee). PS: Olivia's babytalk was driving me crazy - she is adorable but the baby talk was unbearable :(

the new tier feels a bit steep, but considering all it will entail, now that they have the budget, i don't find it unfair. as long as audio issues are fixed. my only gripe is for the conditional content cousins now have access to. I'm a sibling, so it doesn't affect me, but I'm curious to my cousins what content they can no longer see with the addition of this full-access tier. I had planned on down-grading back to cousin for financial reasons, until i saw this post.

I just want to suggest that people saying this might be working in person jobs and doing physical labor daily. Making livestreams and podcasts, while being valuable forms of entertainment for people, is comparatively less labor than many jobs. They basically get paid to say they’re opinions and again, while they are obviously valued, it’s a pretty comfortable job to have in a pandemic and it’s a fair critique especially while many are financially struggling right now while you can literally see how much this podcast makes monthly and... they’re doing better than me I’ll say that.

For context if anyone cares, in the US, $25 is under 4 hours of work at a minimum wage job since it is $7.25 an hour. In South Africa our converted minimum wage is literally only $1.48. So this would be 2 full days of pay on an 8 hour shift at work at a minimum wage job. This is why I'm surprised at some of the outrage here. But yeah everyone's bills and responsibilities are different so... Income and minimum wage may be a Good topic for a future rivalry episode perhaps 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'll say this. I specifically signed up to patreon to support Bob and Monet. I had never spent any money on content creators before but it just felt right because like many of you, their content from YouTube got me through some shit. I was disappointed when non of my comments ever got a like from them or my messages were not responded to and then I realized a mere $5 doesn't magically give someone more time in the day. These queens are busy lol and that's okay. I saw someone complain that $25 USD is like $33 Canadian and I was like bitch I'm from South Africa where our Xchange rate is peanuts lmao. So even signing up to cousin was "expensive" for me. Now I know not eveyone can afford this $25 in this climate and you have the right to feel cheated but that's just not the truth. Nothing is being taken away from what was already there to begin with when you signed up. If the goal was to support our queens by joining this patreon then allow others who have the means to support them even more.

I guess I'm stuck being a cousin now since I paid for the year so hopefully drag race keeps them busy enough to continue releasing content through the year ...so upset that we won't be getting and exclusive content anymore but at least they are promising 1 viewing party A month now

I joined at the start of the pandemic purely to support Bob and Monet and the increased content and community has been great. I miss most of the viewing parties due to being on UK time but would like to know what videos/posts I would now miss out on and whether I should move to the sibling tier. Stepdad is a bit of too much of an increase for content I generally miss anyway. Also (just an idea from another podcast), if you produce merch, could there be discount codes for different tiers? This would add good value and incentive. The only thing I am apprehensive about is how the higher tier will affect the community feel of this great group and the frequency of our interactions with you both on here.

Been a cousin on this podcast since it was 400 of us and you thought william and Alaska having 5,000 was wild😂 I totally support having a new tier with more content, but it's a bit gutting that the other tiers are losing access to full Patreon content and viewing parties since that was the reason I joined. I listen to you guys every day and rewatch old vids all the time, and love how you've been spending so much time and effort on making this page fab, but I just can't afford the higher tiers and I think this system might make a people feel excluded and like this community is split between the tiers whereas before it was just a pay as you can situation. right now our zoom caps at 1000 people--and generally I don't think we've actually hit this cap before in a viewing party. But comment below if you keep getting locked out. There are less people in the higher tiers so it shouldn't be full for those parties--but i'll keep my eyes on our numbers and see if we need to increase the cap. -Jacob

Will the viewing parties still have the zoom limit? Whenever I try to join a sibling rivalry zoom it’s usually full. I completely understand why, but at the same time I’d hate to pay 15$ more to be booted
