The jam buddies are back together. Thanks to Kevin surprisingly! Also Lars put a lot of work in offscreen. Jungle Moon definitely has to be one of the best episodes of the season so far!

2023-12-20 05:12:04 +0000 UTCYeah the designs in Jungle Moon were great! Ugh I'm sadly not surprised to hear people were shitty about the episode but I loved all the choices they made. The shaving felt like a bit of realism I didn't expect to see but was ultimately glad they added. Yeah Emeralds voice actor killed it i'm happy for her!
2023-12-20 05:10:12 +0000 UTCOmg Jungle moon is one of my favourite arcs, like the pink diamond reveal aside the whole environment is so cool looking and the creatures are really fun! This episode got a lot of heat from queerphobic parents too - I think a lot of people misgender Stevonnie as strictly female (despite the fact that they're literally a fusion of Steven and Connie but w/e) so the whole shaving part of the montage had some people throwing fits (that and the fact that as y'all noticed Emerald's voice actress is drag queen Jinkx Monsoon! Which of course, made transphobes mad. As a voice actress I always love seeing trans voice actors winninggg). Also I should mention this since it's been a while since we've seen him do it, but Lion warping really far distances take a lot out of him - he really had to go all out just to get them to the moon base, I don't think he can really reach Lars, as far out there as he is :c

2023-12-19 17:27:32 +0000 UTCThey hinted Pink Diamond was not as huge as yellow or blue way back when we went to the moon base with peridot: known shorties Steven and Peri were able to pop right up into pink diamond's seat. But on this base, Stevonnie had to jump way up and scramble to climb into yellow's chair.
