Added 2024-05-20 11:33:03 +0000 UTCWhat starts off as the average kind of week; waiting for a parcel to arrive in Datca, Turkey, a few ordinary jobs like visiting the Turkish barbers and a bit of shopping and exploring the local area quickly turns nasty when a huge crazy storm hits in the middle of the night! Every boat in our Anchorage drags, and we end up in the middle, like a squished up pickle sandwich, Very scary stuff! Enjoy this hour long special guys, on our very traumatic adventures!

My insurance will cover most of it but why should I get penalised on my insurance when it wasn’t my fault! And I have a large excess to pay too if they keep trying to get out of it! Very annoying!!!!

But the charter company were absolute Bastards!!! and have tried every trick in the book to get out of their insurance paying, at the moment Im still fighting it and it is going to cost thousands to fix the cracks and damage we recently found out!! So the saga sadly continues!

Did you talk to the charter company that let this inexperienced crew out with their property, they or their charterer should be liable in some way to help with your repairs. More than likely the charterer lied to the charter company sometime after about this situation which would make the previous question not be to help you. Really impressed with the amazing video that you and Beau got for us, so to be able to see everyone of the crew that was able, pitched in, even after getting to see the crew was totally soaked and probably really scared while doing it. Sorry it happen to you guys.
