So not sure if it changes anything about your thoughts on production BUT Maxi Shield did say on the 'Drag Her' podcast that, because Australia was essentially on lockdown, for the Aussie queens to be allowed to get approved for a work visa and leave the country, they had to have a certain amount of celebrity to justify it. That could explain that rumor of why there wasn't really an application process and the queens were contacted directly and asked to participate.

I have so many mixed feelings about the season, about some queens (not only Scarlet but also Karen with her racist tattoo). So there was literally no other choice than Kita from who was left, not saying she didn’t deserve it! Let’s hope for a more conciliatory AS6. And stay away from colds :)
