2024-07-09 18:29:01 +0000 UTCi love "the drill" it really amps up the seriousness of what they're ahead of and it kind of feels like a tone shift. "the serpents pass" feels a bit goofy in places but i like it contrasted with the stakes being presented in "the drill." and i really like how the birth of hope (both figuratively and literally) is what finally pulled Aang out of his Appa funk. losing appa is a serious issue and yes they need to get him back but there's so much else going on too that still needs his focus and attention. poor kid!

2024-07-09 11:37:34 +0000 UTCThe reason this is a two parter is because it was the mid season finally. Both episodes aired on the same date and where intended to be watched back to back. It never really made sense to me why the put them together on the dvds and on streaming as they really don't need to be watched this way
