People shit on the later seasons quite a bit. Personally I feel like there was a bit of a dip after season 12. The show feels different at that point, for better or worse. Season 13 was filled with highs and lows. Season 14 was stable quality was, if maybe a bit “mid”. Personally, I feel like season 15 found something again, and season 16 is probably the best season since season 12. Fans are very divided about the “later seasons”, so I implore you to make up your own minds. Some hate 15, while others love it (myself included). Some people love some episodes you hated, and vice versa. It's still a good show. I've grown to enjoy some of these episodes upon rewatch, so I'm trying to give you my first impressions. For instance, I didn't particularly enjoy this episode at first, but I've gotten a new perspective on it, in part due to this reaction. Just make up your own minds. Sunny when it's “mid” is still better than a lot of television as far as I'm concerned. BTW, season 15 and 16 are only 8 episodes a piece, so you've got fewer episodes to look forward to. Here's to hoping season 17 is released this year, eh?
