Next Vid & A Note Of Thanks

Hey all,

To give an update: I spent a solid 10 hours brainstorming topics after I uploaded the duck-rabbit video and decided to shift away from my previous road map.

My next video is going to be about media bias, looking into the claim that there was a 'golden age' of objective news in the 50's and 60's. I'm about done with the research phase and am into the 'compiling notes into a rough script' phase. I should start recording within a few days.

You guys have basically been my only reliable source of income for this channel since it began, and I cannot express how grateful I am for that. It let me pursue topics that I knew had niche appeal and wouldn't grow the channel much or make me anything in ad revenue (like 'How To Make A Good Argument'), and cover them in a way that I thought did them justice, but would alienate the average watcher.

But I think it's finally time to do at least a few videos in a row that are mostly geared towards growing the channel so I can make a living doing it. Once that's done, I'm hoping I can switch back and forth between 'growth videos' and making videos that I believe are socially important. Every video I make I believe is important for one reason or another, but it's a matter of priority. I've been picking topics primarily based on importance, not broad appeal, and I realized that I have to flip those priorities sometimes to make this work.

So thank you so much again for your support, and I hope you guys like where the channel goes from here. I think it will be fun.
