2022-11-10 01:02:09 +0000 UTCAhsoka leaving the 'Jedi Order' doesnt mean she ever gave up the Jedi way, i thought that much anyway. It was a pretty generic origin story though ngl. The jedi are older than the Sith and theyre thousands of years old. So, i understand why they made the connection with jedi but like Jei, i think they shouldve had a seperate legend about force users and have Plo turn up and offer to take her. If they made it more ambiguous as to if a sith or jedi turned up, that would be the fate of Ahsoka it wouldve been far more interesting... the will of the force you could say.. but they didnt do that.

During the clone wars the whole reason they got wiped out was because the jedi WERENT acting like Jedi. Hell, the main reason she left is because she realized that. Going forward she said she wasn't a jedi, but thats only compare to the false clone wars jedi as everything she did afterwards was indicative of a real jedi. She just doesn't know that, its hard to rewire decades of programming. She also never exhibited any darkside traits or tendencies, nor go against the code. This belief she was ever gray or more neutral leaning has always been false and misunderstood her and TCW story. Filoni knows whats up. EDIT: its a misconception that jedi steal babies, only sith do. They ask any parents of force sensitive children if they want to let them go. Some do, those that don't will see the kids powers go dormant. Families will also seek them out and give their kid up since being a jedi was seen as a higher calling, great honor, and better life. Never was the kid ever taken forcfully by one who isnt darkside leaning.
