Tales of the Jedi Ep. 6 - "Resolve" (FULL EPISODE REACTION)

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to say how thankful I am that you guys continuously suggest such badass shows! If this entire Patreon were left up to me to decide what we watch, it wouldn't be nearly as fun of a community, and that is all because of YOU GUYS!

I say that because of how much I enjoyed these 6 episodes! A continuation of the Star Wars lore, the animated series, and the love I have for these characters!

Thank you guys so much! I think we are going to be taking a little hiatus from the Star Wars content so we can watch Avatar: The Last Air Bender. Then after that we will watch Rebels, or Bad Batch, or Obi-Wan, or whatever you guys want!

Love you all so much!!

Alex

Tales of the Jedi Ep. 6 - "Resolve" (FULL EPISODE REACTION)

Comments

bro just found the inquisitors

Wisam A

Nah the Darth maul episodes are worth it

William Butler

True he can work his way there, I'm honestly up for anything star wars related he posts haha

James Skates

idk if it'll hit as hard without watching rebels bc thrawn

Jim Watkins

You forgot rebels

Greg Irons

Can't wait for you to watch tales of the empire!!

James Skates

Rebels is definitely an important show and next step in the Star Wars journey. I don’t personally like The Bad Batch, but I guess that one too. Kenobi - Andor - The Mandalorian - Ahsoka.

Walter

you gotta watch Rebels

Echo

You need to watch The Bad Batch, if you're still in TCW mood. And after that Rebels. Both are excellent shows.

Kyle Evorn

My personal opinion for watch order would be Rebels (it's kind of the same case as Clone Wars has a lot of subpar episodes but it has some GREAT episodes espescially in the later seasons), Bad Batch (I feel like it was solid all around it also has a couple of filler arcs but more bangers then filler), then maybe Kenobi imo Kenobi was a shit show of a show it wasn't really needed and really doesnt add alot to the story, and if you choose to watch that then, The Mandalorian, and if you really want the best of the BEST of Star Wars watch ANDOR I could not recommend it more

MrMansikka

You can go Kenobi, the Rebels, then the Bad Batch. In all honesty you should go Rebels then Bad Batch. Kenobi was ok, with half of the series being good. Rebels starts off a little slow, but gets really good as season one ends.

Ramon

I strongly recommend watching kenobi and then go straight into The Mandalorian, followed by Boba Fett and lastly Ashoka

Justin Navarro

I’m not saying that he should skip them entirely, I’m saying that he could watch Mando before taking an extended hiatus from Star Wars content. Rebels and Bad Batch have a lot of filler content and Mando is a cool fresh take on Star Wars that isn’t just full of Jedi and Sith back and forth. My opinion is that Rebels should be trimmed down when he does watch it, not that he should skip it.

Ryan “Rineran” Fox

Dude rebels and the bad batch were amazing, he should definitely not skip those

Jason M

100% agree with you. While yes Mando does have a little bit of filler it’s still pretty amazing. I love Andor too but it would require him to watch a few things to fully appreciate it. However he doesn’t really need to watch anything else to appreciate Mando

Ryan “Rineran” Fox

I’m inclined to agree with almost everything you said except for one thing, The Mandalorian doesn’t suck and it’s honestly probably something Alex would enjoy a lot

Ryan “Rineran” Fox

I think Alex should still watch "Rebels" first since he is clearly intrested in this storyline, but calling "Rebels" great from start to finish is just objectively wrong, as much as calling Clone Wars the same (as much as I love with 10/10 energy many arcs of it), just trying to stay as objective as possible

JustCaedus PlaysGames

Also "Andor" has no filler - somehow it’s possible to have that…

JustCaedus PlaysGames

Rebels is only partially iconic. There is much more filler and cringe episodes there than any fan of that show would want to admit, and while filler is present in both Mandalorian and Bad Batch, there is much less of it in there. Also don’t get me wrong Rebels has a lot of great episodes, but it’s maybe 10% of the episodes at most, where Bad Batch has maybe 20-30% filler only.

JustCaedus PlaysGames

I'd agree if someone can find the list that skips all the kid show garbage and just focuses on the main plot points. You really only need to watch a small handful of Rebels episodes to understand the important stuff and you can skip the 90% filler episodes that were obviously written for kids age 8-14

Ryan “Rineran” Fox

Thank god another Star Wars fan who isn't blind to the mediocrity of Rebels. I don't get why so many people think sub par writing/animation is okay just because it is mildly relative to the SW canon.

Ryan “Rineran” Fox

Rebels is not important outside of explaining what happened to Ashoka. It's full of sub par writing and bad animation. Honestly, he'd be better off just reading the Wiki page explaining what happens.

Ryan “Rineran” Fox

Now that you've gotten to enjoy the glory that is Clone Wars please do yourself a favor and skip a lot of the sub par Disney Star Wars content like Rebels, Kenobi, Bad Batch, Solo and just go watch The Mandalorian. You won't lose out on anything. Sure you should probably watch Rebels (I hate it) before watching Ashoka (I love it) because it continues the story from Rebels but at this point you don't need to watch ANYTHING else to get the context of The Mandalorian. Mando is hands down the only thing that saved Disney Star Wars after they butchered Episodes 7,8, and 9. I'm telling you Alex, skip the burn out and go straight to The Mandalorian and maybe Book of Boba Fett (only 1 season and it ties into Mando) then come back to Rebels (trying not to vomit) and the rest after a bit of a break.

Ryan “Rineran” Fox

There are also 6 episodes for Tales of the Empire. Maybe when you come back from the Star Wars "hiatus" you could start with them? and then Bad Batch and afterward Rebels :) Thank you for your amazing reactions!

Clotilde Ries

Straight up sequel for rebels

Michael

watch rebels. The ahsoka show is the final season of rebels

MASTER VOS

Rebels, Bad Batch, Andor, Solo, Mando, Rewatch of the OT, Book of Boba, Ahsoka. That should be the order for the next few months.

IGOR PODEMSKI

As far as Star Wars goes Next you should totally watch "The Bad Batch" IF you want to then get all the animation out of the way, then watch Rebels Then Tales of the Empire Then Kenobi, Andor, Mando, and Ahsoka

Trollofduty007

Yeah, the animation isn’t the best compared to now and the show is more childish, but it’s VERY important to the OT lore

Michael

The Animation in Rebels isn't that great. That's the main reason I never watched it all the way through. Did see some key moments tho.

Demon of Empire

Watch Rebels, Alex. That is all I can say. Watch Rebels and all of your questions will be answered.

Henry Carhart

Yeah, I had to stop myself from saying anything more

Michael

Clone wars may be the best of the shows, but that doesn’t mean there are great moments and shows out there

Michael

He absolutely needs to watch rebels first. the Asoka show is virtually a live action sequel to rebels all but in name

Michael

If you’re considering watching the Obi-Wan Kenobi show and the Ahsoka show, I’d very aggressively recommend that you don’t watch the actual series of each on Disney+. Instead, look up something called The Patterson Cut. Kai Patterson is a talented filmmaker; as a Star Wars fan himself, he took each of these shows and edited them down from multi-episode series to 2.5-hour movies. In the process, he kept the good stuff and removed the bad, making lots of little improvements and fine-tuning adjustments in the process. He did a similar process for The Book of Boba Fett show, editing it into 2 movies. If you’re going to watch any of these projects, I’d recommend you watch these versions. You’d be able to watch the entire thing in one sitting and it’s chronically more enjoyable. He likes to do post-credits scenes in his edits so just make sure you stick around after the credits for those so you don’t miss any content. https://www.kaipattersonfilms.com/fanedits Outside of that, I’d say, watch Rebels before you watch Ahsoka.

The Greatest Slowman

If you’re not with me, then you’re my enemy

Charles Walker

Only a sith deals in absolutes.

Zach

In comparison to what’s left of Star Wars it does suck. Rebels is ok and rouge one is good but everything else is mid asf. Atla is peak and it has been delayed too much while Star Wars has been featured on this channel for a long tim.

Charles Walker

I love Atla and I want it too, but star wars don't suck...

Jesse Pinkman

No u

Charles Walker

Only thing that suck is the sequels lol

scott wainman

Liar

scott wainman

I'll have to admit that I only joined Patreon for your reactions to Star Wars. Love every minute, Thanks!

ItsmeEdwin

Can we pls just have Atla now. Star Wars sucks after CW

Charles Walker

Agreed!

renuzui

To each their own ofc but rebels is iconic wdym 😭💀

renuzui

ALEX I WILL BE SO SAD IF YOU STOP EVERYTHING STAR WARS FOR THE DURATION OF AN ENTIRE OTHER SHOW, pls continue star wars, even if its just for 1 epsiode a week plsssssss

bombraider333

DUDE YOU HAVE TO WATCH REBELS!

Brandon Jensen - May the force be with you

This small series is the result of Disney giving the writers of clone wars the freedom to write and create something. This has some of the best writing and story telling in the entirety of Disney+!

CoFro

I think the next chunk of SW content should be Rebels. It adds up a lot to other series. Like for example you don't have a clue who the guy in black with saber was. All this you'll get from Rebels.

Mety7606

I think you should skip Kenobi for now, since the quality of that show is a complete rock bottom. There are so many great Star Wars shows - as much as I think Rebels is mostly mediocre, you should probably start with that, Bad Batch main storyline is amazing so doing that would be great, but the actual best Star Wars show, without a shadow of a doubt is "Andor", so that is the one I would advise you to watch the most

JustCaedus PlaysGames

This is one of the best star wars shows, most star wars shows in my opinion are ass, mainly the live action ones. Barely star wars

Nate D.

He needs to watch rebels before the bad batch.

Alex Georgiadis

That tees up REBELS! 🔥🔥🔥

Ysbulldog

REBELS!!!!! You need to watch Rebels, man! These episodes dovetail so nicely into what goes down in that show!

Josh Gill

Rebels or Kenobi next

MateuszABG De

Kenobi!!!

Jeramiah Gonzales

Yeah definitely gonna have to watch Rebels after ATLA!

Israel

It doesn't T-up the Ahsoka show just yet. It T's up the Rebels show though

Coojw

Rebels needs to come first in the star wars lineup. It just works better that way. It's far more kiddish than clone wars. But there are still those episodes that are holy shit bangers

Hunter

I would add more, but it’s Rebels spoilers.

Hotaru Tomoe

Except Bad Batch was released after Rebels, and has some connections to Rebels that won’t make sense if you don’t know.

Hotaru Tomoe

This would be my recommendation as well. If you want to keep animated shows once a week, do ATLA, then Rebels, then you can do the Star Wars Live Action stuff like The Mandalorian and Ahsoka concurrently with Legend of Korra, then you can do the rest of Star Wars Animation like The Bad Batch after LoK

Jake Rush

REBELS

Julian Fernandez

I wouldnt really put this show on a tier list cuz it’s so short. I just enjoy it for what it was: a tribute to clone wars and its fans. Btw, ahsoka is 18 when we fast forward

Charlie Fontana

The Bad Batch is next chronologically but definitely do Rebels first. Don't do TBB first. I think, from here on out, you should probably do most things in release order and not chronological order.

Mikala B

I can see it now.. ATLA then Rebels then Legend of Korra running concurrent with the rest of the live action Star Wars shows 🔥😈🔥

Josh Bruner

Maybe you should rewatch the movies closer to when your next dive into Star Wars (rebels is probably the way to go from where you’re at, I’m just sayin tho keep your expectations in check, like kinda waaaayyyyyyyy in check lol)

G Lord Robinson

rebels next

a

You also NEED to watch rebels before the ahsoka show. The ahsoka show is basically a continuation of rebels. And bad batch is also very good and comes before rebels so i would consider watching bad batch then rebels

Zander

bad batch and rebels are the next "essential" star wars projects. bad batch takes place before rebels so make sure you watch BB first. May the force be with you Alex, i cannot wait for those reactions

Zander

That bad guy at the end with the cool lightsaber you witnessed was an inquisitor, there are many if not about a dozen of them that were trained by the empire to hunt down surviving Jedi. They were only moderately, if not fairly force capable, but made up for it with a dual lightsaber that also spins and also made up for it with using the dark side. So the fact Asoka killed an inquisitor in like 5 moves without a lightsaber of her own just shows how Powerful she is

Michael

Rebels is next in the Star Wars watch order. I'm excited for Avatar as well though. We were all expecting a badass duel at the end but that random nobody was not even close to being on Ahsoka's level. Also she didn't have any lightsabers since she was in hiding and dropped one of them at the crash site. I loved how last episode it showed us season 1 Ahsoka training and then jumped to season 4/5 Ahsoka with the 2 lightsabers and the clones in phase 2 armor and then it showed season 7 Ahsoka. It really showed how Ahsoka survived order 66 because of hard work and Anakin's training. This episode we get to see Ahsoka at Padme's funeral. Now whenever I watch that scene at the end of revenge of the sith I can imagine Ahsoka in the crowd somewhere. Thank you for watching this show before switching to Avatar. This is kind of a companion piece to clone wars season 7.

Jared Mathews

No it does not tee up the Asoka show, it tees up some things in other shows

Michael

Avatar: The Last Airbender has 63 episodes. It's an awesome series and I look forward to it. However... I'm gonna watch Rebels again in the mean time.

Brian Stanaland

Watch Rebels right after ATLA and then watch Kenobi Show and then Bad batch.

Joovain

I rank tales of the Jedi towards the middle cuz it’s only a 6 short series meant as a little bit of transition for Asoka and a background for dooku. Also DO NOT watch tales of the empire yet, you do not know enough stuff about the empire yet to watch it

Michael

Love this ep fr, deffo watch Rebels next and try to stick to a release order for the rest of the stuff like live action shows and movies

Mohammad Khan

Rebels

Jake

Do your Avatar last Airbender show, but after it has to be Rebles, so many of your questions will be answered

TheGaming Churro

Rebels!!!!!!

Jackson Scarberry

Smart to take a small break

Montana Bruce

rebels or obi wan kenobi next!!

a

Also ashla is the light side of the force.

Alex Georgiadis

Bad batch

ExploSion 203

For context, Ashla was Ahsoka's original name when George Lucas and Dave Filoni created her, but was then changed to Ahsoka. Little bit of BTS knowledge for ya Alex 👍

EvoHimself

Yes Rebels next for star wars.

Echho

Please do rebels next

CC-2024

yes, im trying to say im being vague about the red saber guys :)

Lee Smith

yea forsure, its just a big plot point you learn about in s1. who they are and what their goal is. :D

Lee Smith

this is ep 6

Bmaster532

My bad about the saber. I edited that out of my comment. Also the s1 plot is made pretty obvious from the very first episode.

Alex Georgiadis

He would have understood way more if he watched rebels first. Definitely should stick to realease order from now on

Oliver

The patreon will catch on fire if he skips to ahsoka😂. We won’t allow him to do that before rebels

Alex Georgiadis

Rebels fs

Nathaniel Nichols

I'd say the next show should be either, rebels or the obi wan show (probably Obi Wan since it's shorter and takes place before rebels)

Bmaster532

Luckily his editor is a fellow SW nerd, so he'll tell him to watch rebels first definetely.

MrPeran

You’ll learn more from rebels but I’m extremely exited for avatar

Jon hansen

spoiling the double wielding saber intro in rebels, you just laid out the plot of s1 rebels :p

Lee Smith

He is literally going to skip rebels for Ashoka I can see it

PKKite

Rebels, definetly. IMO.

Metal Machine

trying be vague about episode 6 btw

Lee Smith

Your confusion in episode 1 with Ahsoka and the tiger thing and the Red Saber guy in this one are concepts introduced in Rebels. The Ahsoka show is technically a continuation of Rebels too, and will teach you SO much lore about star wars that will help you understand the new shows and movies better.

Lee Smith

Since you haven’t seen rebels and haven’t been introduced to them yet, these red saber wielders are called inquisitors. In a few words they are a bunch of force users mostly former Jedi Padawans that have been trained by Vader to hunt down and kill any remaining Jedi they find. These moments where you have no context or background information are one of the reasons why you should watch rebels first.

Alex Georgiadis

YIP YIP!!!

Scottie

There’s a ton of Star Wars so always good to take a break. Rebels is peak (after the last two episodes of the second season and on anyway) so you’ll be coming back to some badass Star Wars

ThatStonerB

*coughREBELScough*

Mike Stevenson

No worries I was looking forward to atla anyways

Lukas Weimar

Man.. I've never heard anything sadder. We are taking a break from star wars? ;(

MrPeran

Understandable! doing a Star Wars hiatus, there's still a LOT left. Looking forward to the Avatar reactions!
