You live the evolution of Star Wars as it was written. There are a lot of Easter eggs in every show which he won’t get if he hasn’t watched the previous shows like for example kanan appearing in the begging of BB. I’ll just live this here, us arguing won’t change anything and in the end he’ll probably do whatever his editor recommends.

Everything else should be watched in the order it occurs. Jumping back and forth in time to accommodate release order is extremely convoluted and unnecessary

If anything with Rebels, there is only one servers momement in Season 2 that has an emotional impact. A majority of rebels if filler for the only sub-par stories they telling. Resistance: A ghost of a show in the majority of Star Wars people’s eyes. Movies 7-9: These movies due not set good light on the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy, almost making the entire arc of the movies practically useless. Kenobi was not a very well-written story and broke universal realism when it comes to any form of storytelling. Bad Batch, Ashoka, Mandalorian, Boba Fett(partially). If the sequals were solid movies, it shouldn’t take this many shows to bandage its final movie’s storyline which was already controversial. Also shows had for the most part sub-par writing. Madolrian Season one showed potential, and Bad Batch season one was the definition of average, and Season 2 having some highlight moments, but Season 3 was very forgettable, and its impact moments came too late. Tales of the Empire’s main focus was to make an origin story for one character in Ashoka, and Mandalorian; because both shows forgot to introduce and provide a character to said character.

Saying to watch rebels for answers isn’t like skipping at the end of the book because the other shows provide no context nor continuation of clone wars story lines. Since you probably don’t remember let me remind you that his questions after watching the clone wars were: what happens to ahsoka, what happens to Rex, what happens to maul and will ahsoka get to meet Vader. Those questions don’t get answered in BB, don’t get answered in kenobi and don’t get answered in andor. Watching rebels first instead of a bunch of shows that add nearly nothing to the storylines that the clone wars leaves behind isn’t skipping at the end of the book. And I’ll say it again that the shows were made to be watched in release order. And I’m also gonna say it again because you didn’t catch it the first time, I enjoy all Star Wars content, I believe bad batch and andor are phenomenal shows that he should definitely watch but in the right time. Look around you, no one is agreeing with your stupid comment and yet you have three people disagreeing with you. Ask anyone who’s watched all of Star Wars and 90% will tell you that release order is better. One final thing, you try to gaslight me by saying that my points are weak meanwhile you have provided 0 points why he should watch it in chronological order other than “it makes sense”. And if you believe that by watching it chronologically he will get spoilers and have a lot of no context moments is a weak point then my friend I don’t know what to tell you.

Clone wars season 7 was watched before rebels because it is literally the same fucking show and I’d actually have no problem in seeing it after. When they create a new show such as kenobi or bad batch or other shows their target audience isn’t new Star Wars fans, their goal isn’t to attract new viewers with bad batch or other shows, it is to get views from existing Star Wars fans. Existing Star wars fans who have seen everything. They create the show given the fact that you’ve seen the rest. That is how they’re made buddy. Did you even see his reaction to the clone wars finale? If you did then you probably remember all the questions he asked in the end. All of those questions are answered in rebels because it continues a lot of story lines. But I get it, instead of wanting Alex to get answers you just want him to jump from show to show constantly getting introduced to new character while leaving storylines behind because it is “chronologically correct”. In universes such as Marvel Star Wars dc LOTR etc. it is always better to watch in release order. I will assume you’re new to Star Wars or just 10-15 because anyone who’s watched things in release order will tell you that’s the way to go. Since 2005 I’ve been watching everything as it was releasing and it makes a much better experience and reaction from Alex. Saying he should go chronologically and basically go through rebels after obi wan and bad batch is basically screaming “you don’t know what you’re talking about”. Also one last thing cause you said it repeatedly, I don’t favor rebels over other shows, yes the show is great and one of my favs but I like it equally with bad batch andor and mandalorian. The reason why I’m saying rebels first isn’t because I like it more, it’s simply because that’s the right way to watch Star Wars.

Yeah watching epsiodes 4-6 first is the way to go. Once thats done there is no argument for not watching it in chronological order. All your points are weak as fuck. You just want rebels next cause you like it better than the content between clone wars and rebels

I don’t wanna type an essay so I’ll just say two main things. 1) rebels literally continues so many storylines of so many characters and will really show Alex how times under empire rule is cause all Alex knows so far from what he’s seen is that “empire bad because Death Star bad”. 2) release order is 100 time much better than chronological order and is way better for first time viewers. Also andor season two will tie directly to rogue one making rebels chronologically before andor. Also if he should watch Star Wars in chronological order because it makes the most sense like you said, why didn’t he watch episodes 1&2 first and then clone wars and after that episode 3? Why did he watch OT before prequels?

That’s like saying you should watch 1-6 instead of 4-6 and then 1-3! Rebels release next so it avoids any spoilers! Rebels is where most people learned about the inquisitors whereas kenobi will introduce them in a bad way that will give them a bad first impression when he does watch rebels

Some people are saying you should jump to rebels but theres no real reason for that besides they like rebels and want that next. No point watching rebels then watching prequels to rebels. After Tales of the jedi its obi wan kenobi then solo, andor, and then rebels. This is the canon order. Thats the way to go. This leads to rogue one and episode 4.
