The reason for is is because the other movies (Halloween II and the others i didnt mention) will probably confuse you since Halloween 2018 ignores all the predecessor films except the first. Hope you understand what im trying to explain lol its a mouth full.

And it's better then most horror movies that are out there. The plot is that a group of young people, teen or early20s. Are having a party, and one of them brings out a haunted clay hand. Hold the prop and say talk to me, and a spirit will appear in front of you. But only the person holding the hand can see it. But hold the connection for too long, and the spirit will possess you. So of course the kids are challenging each other to see how long they can hold the prop.
