For the 11th month running, we could not produce an alpha.

This was avoidable. Unfortunately, a forgetful member of the team insisted on inserting one non-tested/non-functional object or system after another into the build, literally DAYS after I told everyone that we needed to lock things down.

As a result, at 11:50 tonight, (a full week after I told everyone we needed to lock everything down for the release) I was confronted with a jumbled mess of things that had been literally jerry-rigged within the previous two hours - half of which worked, the other half of which required a multi-level review process that would take hours if not days.

We could not release such a mess.

As a result, I must apologize again, because we cannot release the alpha that we promised 11 months ago.

I did everything I could, and have no idea when we can get the game working.

I am so very sorry.
