I've been testing over the last few months, so can say with absolutely confidence.... they're awesome! The S10 is quite extraordinary in how it solves the mopping challenges of all robovacs before it, they just all seem a bit silly now!!
And the K10+ Pro (just out in last few days) is brilliant just in what it's size unlocks....!!

So much smarter than any robot vacuum I've ever had. And the imaginary drunken Switchbot engineers need their own reality show...I would definitely watch🤣

2024-08-23 16:16:46 +0000 UTCYes, I think the reality is the horde of HA folks always find a way regardless, so they might as well give in... ;) Water - well funny you should say, as I was just testing our water with a new device this week. It's excellent here (we have local spring water supply, so no real issues at all). It's an interesting thought though about water hardness/softness - this is always the case with evolutionary leaps like this, you uncover lots of new challenges! I imagine you'd just need to clean the filters every little while (it has a pretty accessible filter inside the water station).

I’ve bought into solutions that subsequently narrowed or eliminated their API and, as an HA aficionado, that’s frustrating. I think a big engineering hurdle is the water interface; as in, woe unto those with untreated hard water. How’s your water quality? Do you pass it through RO before feeding? The dehumidifier angle is keen if it reuses the water for mopping. This was a good pick for a review. So much to think about. I got scared when it barreled toward your face! I’ve got decades of marred furniture behind me. “No! No! Not her beautiful face!! Oh, whew, LIDAR SLAM!”
