You know they’re enjoying the show when the end credits hit and they all go “awww” simultaneously 🥰

DnD Lore!: “Where does your strength come from”💪
Your characters will most likely go on many quests and adventures though the world the Dungeon Master has prepared for you, but there is something the DM can’t prep you for: “Why…”
🎻If you’re a Bard, you may have a backstory of how you learned magic of music or art.
🪄If you’re a Sorcerer you may have knowledge of how you feel about your powers or what you want to do with them.
🔪If you’re a rogue you probably know how you got so sneaky and learned to pick locks.
🍀Or, if you’re a Druid, you might know about your connection to nature and the journey you must go on to be one with it.
But… Why???
Why are you doing it this way? Being an adventure party has its advantages, yes. Groups survive better, maybe you all just randomly decided to get along. But… why are you even going somewhere you need to think of “surviving better” anyway?
There’s many horrible things in DnD. Evils and necromancers, undead and evil dragons— The world is a DEATH TRAP! You’re much safer not going in that dungeon or saving those people or accepting that quest. But you are… what drives you to do all these things?
“Where does your strength come from?”
It could be as simple as “it’s right” and your character is willing to risk death for Altruism. That’s powerful, when you think about it.
Is it money? Who risks their life for money, why? Money is an answer to a problem, not a motive. Is your family in need and poor? Is someone a hostage?
I challenge you all to think of that when playing your respective characters at home. And if you can’t find an answer, that’s ok! Look for one. Maybe your character finds one on the journey!
Why are you good at what you do and why do you use it? Why are you learning more about your magic or nature or music?
“Where does that strength come from?”

I think that even here Kevdak's motivations make sense. Like yes of course the herd should resist the dragon but the reality is until vox machina and their vestiges became part of the equation they had no chance. Also the whole country is ruled by dragons atm where is this herd, that also has non-combatants and children, is so supposed to flee too that umbrasyl cannot catch up to them.

#SundayRundown- Try not to think about Kevdak's motivation too much as it doesn't make much sense in the animated series. In the actual story, there was this whole game of thrones-esque plot line of a Goliath druid named Greenbeard who was insidiously whispering in Kevdak's ear and manipulating him into obeying the dragons.
Also you have now met Dr. Dranzel. Originally Scanlan was actually a member of Dr. Dra's troupe instead of Dr. Dra just being a fan. See, according to Sam Riegel, Scanlan Shorthalt's backstory was just Marshall Mathers' life story. Dr. Dra discovered S&S and put him on his troupe.

For reference, that girl that healed Grog was Pike, she use to have black hair. In the pre stream when it was still their home game, Pike had died but was revived and that gave her the iconic white hair Pike !!
