Agreed Don't be spoiled by the title cards normies

Mr. Big Stuff

This is where I again recommend a streaming service that doesn't spoil the title names. This one wasn't so bad (although still obviously a spoiler) but there's a few that will come up that will be really rough. If not that, then maybe at least have someone remind you guys not to look at the title (like you do with Always Sunny) for those episodes

Like everyone else, I'm gonna' emphasize how the Dark Tournament is one of the greatest arcs in anime, and I can't WAIT to experience it once again with y'all newbies. There's something I never payed attention to in this show, but is crystal clear to me now watching your reactions. That is the complete lack of filler! Quite the rarity for an anime of this era. I imagine the pacing would've been considered break-neck back then. ๐Ÿ˜›

2 things, keep notice on the clarity and crispness of the graphics as this arc pans out... and 2. Younger Toguro (dub captions calls him Toguro 2) is voiced by Dameon Clarke, who voices Cell (all of them) and Handsome Jack from Borderlands (GOD these pretzels suck!")

It gets more engagement because it is the greatest of all time.

Billy Alston

unironically the best tournament arc in anime, this is gonna be so peak

I love a old school mangaka time skip, nowadays mangaka want to show a lot of the training because its easy chapters to write, Oda, Kishimoto, Togashi and the og Toriyama, all skip that shit

GodUsopp

Best tournament arc in anime history. Letโ€™s go !

I doubt skipping training arcs saves money because that's typically where they'd put filler. Like in Dragon Ball pretty much all training arcs after the first one with Master Roshi were completely skipped in the manga but are made into several episodes in the anime.

This is were the real Yu Yu Hakusho begins. Also, kudos to Takashi for avoiding the typical shonen trope of "I wanna be the strongest there is". The main characters are forced to participate against their will and risk their lifes doing so. And it just gets better and better.
