I want all of Gemma’s innies to be happy. I believe in innie rights.

#SundayRundown So Milchick's actor talked a bit about the band scene and what went on behind the scenes of it. Tramell Tillman actually didn't want to do the dance scene, as he felt like doing one every season would take away from how special and powerful the 'Music Dance Experience' was. However, due to his previous alma mater being Jackson State University, and their famed band, he felt he HAD to pop off. At the same time, it worked well for his character as it's just another swipe at Lumon. You can see it when he starts taking shots at Kier's wax figure, that he's not gonna let Lumon turn him into a 'model employee' so when he has the chance he goes all in with the band and I'm so glad he did it.

Just read a really great take about the constant false starts with the reintegration story line this season. What many viewers (myself included) thought was uncharacteristically choppy writing was in fact the show constantly hinting that reintegration was failing. And, it was failing because iMark doesn't want to be reintegrated. He wants his own life. Like the reveal that Cobel invented severance, I think this re-contexualizes so much of what came before, and makes the plotting this season make way more sense. Regardless of whether you think reintegration would be another form of death to an innie or not, it's still a decision being made unilaterally by their outie. Just as innies had no say in their birth, their possible death is being pursued without their knowledge. It's clear now that, by rooting for reintegration to happen all season, much of the viewing audience has been just as complicit as the show's outies in not seeing the innies as real people, with their own agency. We have more regard for them than Lumon does, but we still value the survival of the outie over them (please refer to exhibits 1 through 25, aka Gemma's innies). We took for granted that the innie's would be easy allies with the anti-Lumon outies, but this finale blows up every assumption we've made, and has revealed the blind spots in our empathy. That's just some damn good Sci-fi. Stray thoughts: - Reintegration being the gray area it now clearly is, is going to make Reghabi's character more antagonistic going forward. Even putting aside Devon working with Cobel. - I do think we are to understand Gemma is free. If they just catch her and toss her back on the testing floor, then this whole season would have been pointless. - Britt Lower has confirmed in interviews that it is NOT Helena at the end.

Mark S. did his outie a real solid and saved Gemma (and had to get beat up and choked out to do it), even though he feels no love attachment to that woman. She is no longer a prisoner of the testing floor about to be discarded. Its just that he also chose himself over Mark Scout...honestly, is that really that fucked up? He loves Helly. And hes probably right about what Mark Scout will do once out...will he actually continue re-integrating ? Why would he? And even so, he cant love Gemma and Helly both romantically at the same time. Innie Mark's selfishness is totally understandable. Possibly the next move will be to try and make the OTC permanent, so hes innie on the outside of Lumon.

Notice how Mark is standing like Jame when he's on the elevator? Mark is Jame's son I bet.

RENEWED FOR SEASON 3 HELL(Y) YEAH They better get a lot of love next awards season!! Adam Scott msut have a best actor Emmy nom in the bag. Tramill Tillman better get recognized too! He ran, he danced, he pushed, he had all the big words, he beefed with a fucking animatronic. That was hilarious. The hallway fight was crazy. Devastated for Gemma but it makes sense for innie Mark. If only they could make a seperate body for him.

Milchicks dancing refines my tempers so hard

If Mr. Milchick goes through the entire marching band he's goated. Seth deserves to be in Daredevil season 5.

They pretty much revealed what Cold Harbor is, as obviously as they could without just spelling it out. It's the final efficacy test in Gemma's trials to see if the chip actually works in erasing all prior memory. Since, current versions of the chip in use on the severed floor don't actually work. The fact that Mark is able to "feel" which numbers are Gemmas, despite not knowing her as an Innie, is literally because the chips still don't fully work yet.

Yooo I just watched the episode and I thought I saw a smirk on her face too!! Holy shit. And I like what you said about it being a retelling of Eurydice and Orpheus 🫨 Such a phenomenal episode, didn’t want it to end 😮‍💨😭

#sundayrundown The chip was never as effective as they claimed, that's what they've been testing all along. That's why the innies have to live in such a sterile, backrooms-y environment, where the most intense emotions they get come from melon parties and finger-traps. Because the chip can't actually block out deeper emotional reactions. Remember how quickly Milchick cut off Mark S. in s1e1 when he started to express real grief? The subtle difference in Adam's acting, the tone of voice, posture and other small details between the "innie" and the "outtie" showed that he was excellent. The first 19 minutes, showing the conversation between his two versions, was sensational! It was clear that they are two different people. This company deadass has a whole department for a marching band that gets used ONCE, but seemingly has just one overweight guy for its entire security? They deserve what they got tbh. I feel like this is out of character for Helly R. She would not be ok with anyone being prisoner. She would have told Mark to go. I swear there was a smirk on her face when she looked back at Gemma. I’m calling it that they flipped the switch and that’s Helena, it would also explain why she left MDR when she didn’t even know Mark was back from saving Gemma. This was absolutely a retelling of Eurydice and Orpheus with modern day corporate culture as a backdrop, acting as Hades. Even the hallways are reminiscent of the maze and the minotaur. There are so many Greek tragedies, references, and parallels, but ultimately it’s a love story. But innie Mark looked back, and lost Gemma.
