Hey guys,

Other things have been keeping us a bit busy this week. I've had family over from the US whom I hadn't seen for 12 years, so that was a nice surprise.

I've been chiefly working on more armour ideas today. 'Adventurer' type armour has been mentioned on the forums, so I wanted to give that a try, as well as playing around with more traditional RPG leather armour. Given the nature of the material, I think it should be something highly modifiable and look as if it's worn and lived-in and has been adapted by its owner for trekking across the lands. Perhaps also pieced together from other salvaged pieces of armour. The two on the left look more to me like soldier armour sets rather than something you'd expect a hunter or adventurer to wear; not necessarily bad, but probably suited to someone of higher standing than an adventurer.

I've also been considering where half-breeds would fit into the world. Thus far my plan has been to have them sort of merged with settlements of their own kind (half rabbits like Marley living in the Skywarren with other rabbit-folk, for instance). Having separate settlements for each half breed species I think would result in far too many towns, so there's some interesting social dynamism to explore there with where the rather rare half breeds fit in. Possibly living with their beast-folk counterparts, but also being somewhat social pariahs in some cases.

Rather than write more note-form additions for the Codex, I've also been considering simply writing short stories. They're more fun and often easier to do, so let me know if that's something you'd like. Afterwards the Codex could be updated with any new parts of the lore. My only concern is people finding it confusing, but perhaps it'd be a more engaging way for me to write, and for you guys to read, about the lore of the game. It'd also let me sharpen my writing skills a little more than rough outlines. Let me know what you think.

Crimson and Vahn have been busy this week also, but hopefully the weekend will again grant us the opportunity to make some more progress. In the mean time, hope you all have a wonderful Halloween. :)
