He someone that Tarkin and the imperials would absolutely side with in the galactic empire but also expose the uncomfortable dark truth about the Jedi and republic blind acceptance and moral hypocrisy on how they handle clones and treatment of Umbara right in seceding from the republic and joining the separatist. Wish there was a war crimes scene from those Vietnam war movies like platoon where he and the clones committed brutal acts on Umbara civilians would have change how we look on the war on Umbara. The difference is that he was completely honest about it in his asshole way.

2022-07-29 16:55:35 +0000 UTCWhen he was first introduced, I thought he was just that rough type of commander that had tunnel vision when it came to victory but as the arc continued. I hated him. This does put into perspective that while other Jedi might not act like him, every Jedi general and commander aren’t always the most wise and compassionate leaders like the main ones we see.

2022-07-29 16:07:56 +0000 UTCVietnam was strong with this arc and Krell is a good allegory (right word?) for some of the officers in that conflict. The Vietnam War saw the most amount of officers intentionally killed and injured via fragging/other means from friendly fire in US wars.
