Oh my god I almost kept flipping out every time Damarin kept saying "just use the force to-" they spent the first 2 episodes establishing that Obi- Wan is not tapped into the Force, and he struggled so hard to save Leia using it. Hell it seemed like it barely worked last second, it wasn't immediate. Then this episode begins with him describing how the force feels, that it's like that feeling of being safe, which was a great way of letting the audience know that he doesn't feel safe. This is a broken Obi-Wan who has lost his faith. The force is still a part of him, but he has lost balance due to his guilt. To his despair. So yeah, 3 episodes in he only used the Force once in a moment of desperation, an it almost didn't work. Same for his lightsaber. He didn't ignite it when confronted by Vader head on, he ran. He only ignited it in self defense, in fear, as Vader stalked him.

2022-06-02 16:47:29 +0000 UTCMoses Ingram is doing a great job in my opinion, and the character seems great, a dark sider who will do whatever it takes to get the job done and advance her rank. Seems legit. Also the name "Quinlan" that Obi-wan found in the safe house was probably Quinlan Vos, the Jedi with dreadlocks from the Ziro the Hutt episode of Clone Wars. That guy is probably still alive. Lastly I think Spidey was wrong, Tala was not in Battlefront, he's probably thinking of Iden Versio played by Janina Gavankar.
