At the time, I was working in an office environment for the Federal Government and while what's shown here is to the extreme of what I experienced, it was spot on pointing out how clueless management in an office environment is on any number of things including diversity issues. The first season of The Office is probably my favorite because the satire elements are great.

2022-06-01 02:45:18 +0000 UTCScott's Tots is the cringiest episode by a mile. I think I've only seen it twice, and I've rewatched The Office way too many times to count. Diversity Day might be the second cringiest episode, although some people consider Dinner Party exceptionally cringey, so it either ties with Diversity Day or is third. Personally, I love Dinner Party so much (the bloopers and bts story are hilarious) that the cringe factor doesn't really affect me--there are just so many good things happening with the writing and the performances. It's a favorite.
